Job Description:
Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community-based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of approximately 182,000 people. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender, and general hospital mental health services.
Position: Administrative Officer Grade IV
Type: Permanent, Part-time (17.5 hours per week)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant and clinical team. The successful candidate will be flexible, committed, and possess the following:
1. Recognised, relevant, and validated qualification(s).
2. A minimum of 5 years' current administrative experience; experience in a medical or similar setting is advantageous.
3. Excellent typing skills, data entry, and demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with telephone and reception experience.
4. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
5. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. The ability to provide administrative cover in other services within St. John of God Community Mental Health Services when needed.
7. Display absolute discretion and confidentiality.
8. Full clean Driving Licence and access to own means of transport essential.
Remuneration: Salary Grade 0558 Grade IV (Clerical) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale
Initial Location: The initial location of this role is Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
