We're an ambitious team of 25 people across Simply Studios and Simply Social based in the UK & Ireland and not stopping there. We're growing fast and so we're looking for a social wizard who will help us continuously grow!
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Social Creative to lead our social creative team. This role is pivotal in driving the creative direction of our agency and ensuring that our content remains innovative, trend-setting, and engaging. The ideal candidate is a creative leader with a deep understanding of social media trends, platforms, and audience behaviours. They will inspire and mentor a team of creative professionals to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
1. Lead and manage a team of social media creatives, including content creators, designers, and copywriters.
2. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
3. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
4. Join the pitching team at Simply Social, presenting to prospective clients.
5. Develop and oversee innovative creative strategies tailored to each client’s brand, goals, and target audience.
6. Ensure that all content aligns with the latest social media trends and best practices.
7. Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and platform updates to keep Simply Social at the forefront of the industry.
Campaign Execution:
1. Oversee the conceptualisation, creation, and execution of engaging social media campaigns.
2. Ensure campaigns are aligned with client objectives, brand guidelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Work closely with account managers and strategy teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
Performance Analysis and Optimisation:
1. Collaborate with analytics teams to measure the success of social campaigns.
2. Use data-driven insights to refine creative strategies and improve campaign performance.
3. Serve as the creative point of contact for key clients, presenting ideas and gathering feedback.
4. Build strong relationships with clients to understand their brand vision and objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a senior creative role, preferably within a social media agency or similar setting.
2. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, X, LinkedIn) and their specific content requirements.
3. A strong understanding of social media trends, audience behaviours, and emerging digital technologies.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide creative talent.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in social media content and campaign creation.
