Project Engineer
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team at Breedon Cement, Kinnegad.
This is a permanent full-time role in the Operations and Maintenance department.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering engineering projects in a heavy industrial production plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
* Support the engineering team by managing relationships with contractors, laborers, and site management.
* Interpret client requests and specifications to create accurate engineering drawings.
* Conduct cost estimations and electrical design of customized solutions.
* Plan schedules and coordinate engineering projects efficiently.
* Source equipment and parts from external suppliers.
* Manage field installations and conduct pre-commissioning and testing works.
* Identify and resolve operational problems related to projects.
* Keep accurate records and files according to quality standards.
* Prepare reports as required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
* 3-5 years' experience in a heavy industry environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
* Experience with PLC Controls, Variable Speed Drives, Instrumentation, and Electronic Motor Protection.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
