Associate Project Manager
The Associate Project Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting and overseeing various project services tasks focused on the delivery of client software development and global standards within the legislative and regulatory domain. This role leverages diverse resources from project management, business analytics, and delivery management to define, plan, monitor, govern, and lead project activity from initiation to customer acceptance and successful handover.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and own assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery to agreed scope, schedule, and expectations.
* Deliver projects with precision, aligning with agreed-upon goals, timelines, and resource allocations.
* Lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving results-oriented work.
* Maintain open communication channels, providing regular project updates to stakeholders at all levels within Propylon.
* Cultivate relationships with key leaders and managers to support overall organizational planning and objectives.
* Foster strong partnerships with critical stakeholders, prioritizing their needs and concerns.
* Develop and implement process definitions, documentation, and training for assigned processes, ensuring seamless execution.
* Establish and maintain robust governance structures to ensure process adherence and compliance.
* Provide proactive risk management for projects, identifying and mitigating potential issues before they escalate.
* Collaborate with Super Users and Business Process Owners during solution testing to build user knowledge and expertise in the solution.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple internal projects, meeting agreed-upon scope and schedule requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to company leadership and influence outcomes.
* Able to build and lead high-performance teams, both directly and cross-functionally, driving results and growth.
* Demonstrated business acumen and technology skills, with a deep understanding of software development methodologies and quality processes.
* Familiarity with business-critical software/services environments, with the ability to drive process improvements.
* Availability to travel as needed to support business objectives.
Education and Experience:
* Background in IT project management, with a focus on delivering complex projects.
* Familiarity with business-critical software/services environments, with a proven track record of success.
* Degree in IT or a business-related field, or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in project management principles.
* Professional project management certification, such as PMI or PRINCE, is an advantage but not required.
