Senior QA Test Manager - Help Build a Test Consultant Practice Job Description: Our client, a dynamic consultancy practice, is seeking an experienced Senior QA Test Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing the testing practice in Ireland. You must have previous public and private sector experience and have experience in proposals/ tenders and bids to help win client business. Job Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test strategies. Manage testing phases across diverse projects ensuring high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements and expectations. Develop and manage test plans aligning with organisational goals. Drive innovation in testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Oversee defect tracking, reporting, and resolution processes. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment. Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years experience in a QA/Test Management role. Proven ability to lead large-scale testing initiatives across complex environments. Good experience of Bid Management and tender proposals. Have previous experience of winning new test businesses. Strong understanding of both functional and non-functional testing frameworks. Experience with automation tools and strategies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Desirable Skills: Previous Consultancy practice experience is highly favorable. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification. Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira or TestRail. Background in consultancy or service-based organisations. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
