Field Service Engineer – Scientific/Hospital Laboratory Instrumentation
Provide technical support, repair, installation, and commissioning of leading brands in Scientific instrumentation - Laboratory Instrumentation, Micro Blood/Sample Analysers, Histology, and Cytology instrumentation. Leinster Based preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Support a wide range of Scientific instrumentation located within the hospital, pharmaceutical, and industrial environment, initially being OEM trained and working specific instrumentation.
* Provide technical support, repair, installation, and commissioning of leading brands in Scientific instrumentation.
* Perform routine maintenance as per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
* Develop and maintain a good relationship with all customers.
* Work with service administration to schedule regular customer maintenance/breakdowns to ensure KPI targets are met.
* Possess strong PC knowledge on Windows-based OS, both hardware and software.
* Assist with demonstrations, when required.
* Provide emergency assistance to customers, when required.
* Document preparation and certificate issuing as the candidate will be working in GMP and hospital laboratories.
* Maintain correct boot stock.
* Ability to work as part of the Service Team.
* Full awareness and participation in relevant SOPs.
* Work closely with managers and provide daily progress updates.
* Ability to work in a safety-conscious manner and with consideration for customers to minimize their disruption.

* Minimum of a Science Engineering degree or equivalent or 2 years relevant industry experience and qualifications.
* Full clean driving license is essential.
* Experience in fault finding & problem-solving using PC software.

* Successful completion of Garda Vetting.
* Flexibility & availability to travel and work away from home when required.
