Job Description:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Investor Operations, a list of your responsibilities will include:
* Manage and guide any direct reports in daily deliverables while ensuring adherence to company and department policies and procedures relating to investor registration, dealing, reporting and cash.
* Be a main contact for daily client inquiries and deliverables covered by your reporting lines, ensuring resources are allocated to complete deliverables within Service Level Agreements.
* Support management in addressing any sensitive or escalated queries/concerns from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers or internal MUFG Departments following a high-quality standard.
* Support any direct reports with training and guide individual performance and development with guidance and support of the manager through regular one-to-one meetings, performance discussions, career coaching and development as requested, and annual performance reviews following company standards.
* Ensure regular communications such as check-in meetings/calls with direct reports, encouraging teamwork, support, and a positive team culture.
* Support management with driving department initiatives, projects, and risk mitigation.
* Support Investor Operations projects within your team, encouraging participation, constructive feedback, and idea generation from team members.
* Support and promote MUFG's core values of Trust, Challenge & Empowerment, Passion for Clients, and Openness and Honesty.
Qualifications:
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferably in a business-related field or related experience.
* 3+ years experience in financial services, transfer agency, fund administration.
* A demonstrable ability to problem-solve complex issues and provide guidance, assistance, and training.
* Existing client/customer service experience would be ideal.
* Knowledge of Investor Services processes and related functionalities.
* Demonstrate business logic and risk-averse approach to processes.
* Demonstrate team leadership experience in Investor Services, fund administration, or relevant industry.
* Computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel would be an asset.
