Job Title: Purchasing Manager Hardware
Location: Roscommon, Ireland (with a full Irish driving license and access to a vehicle)

Our client is a global brand specializing in the hardware industry with operations based in Roscommon. They are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead their strategic purchasing function across Ireland.

About the Position
Reporting directly to the Procurement Director, the successful candidate will oversee the planning, regulation, and monitoring of the buying and sourcing process across all categories for our functions in Ireland, with international connections.
Key responsibilities include:
* Implementing efficiency improvements and strategic sourcing methodologies
* Managing vendor selection processes and external supplier relationships
* Negotiating with vendors/suppliers to secure best practices and materials management
* Developing a rebate management function and ensuring cost management compliance
* Managing the ERP system and supply chain risk
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years procurement experience, particularly in global markets with experience in China. A strong strategic thinker with excellent negotiating skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
