Project Manager – Limerick
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage and deliver a project from start to completion, adhering to Health & Safety, Quality, and Programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Plan and deliver the overall project from pre-start to handover.
* Manage the project, including scheduling, monitoring, and updating the program weekly.
* Highlight and mitigate risks to the program, informing senior management of any delays.
* Prepare monthly reports on program, quality, health & safety, progress, and finance.
* Assist in closing out design issues and produce a procurement schedule.
* Oversee quality and design on site, ensuring implementation strategy through BIM.
* Occasionally assist in tender preparation and estimating department/Pre-Construction team with programs and construction methodologies.
* Effectively manage the project team, communicating, leading by example, training, and mentoring.
* Ensure BC(A)R is managed among the team from start to handover.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Conduct one-on-one review meetings with team members every 6 months.
* Bi-annual review of department competency matrix and assessment of Human Resources needs.
* Manage poor performance and deal with Team disciplinary and grievances issues in coordination with HR.
* Monitor and report on departmental objectives and targets in line with the organizational strategy.
Requirements:
* Experience in the Construction Industry is essential for this role.
* Construction related Degree.
* Minimum of 5 – 10 years experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK on €10m + projects.
* Proficient in planning software, such as MS Project.
* Highly organized and methodical approach.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Excellent project management skills to manage and drive multiple work streams simultaneously.
* Ability to supervise and manage staff.
