Overview
Supporting the Mastercard Fraud Intelligence services, members of this team have an opportunity to build new and extend current fraud detection and prevention services. This exciting area within Mastercard is growing fast and creating cutting-edge technologies that help to prevent fraud across the globe.
This is an agile team that will be balanced across full-stack engineering and data engineering. The team will also provide leadership for other teams in using strong architecture and technology delivery practices that create the best solutions.
Role:
1. Work with a talented team of developers and test engineers to develop fraud management applications.
2. This position will be responsible for delivering Quality Engineering services (Code quality, Testing Services, Performance Engineering, Testing and Environment automation, Development Collaboration, Continuous Integration).
3. Extensive understanding of BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques, and open-source agile testing frameworks.
4. Author automated test suites with code, front end GUI automation, and API testing.
5. Perform ad hoc/exploratory testing methodically to ensure the system is working as expected by the end user.
6. Comprehend user stories to understand task items per story in the context of all levels of testing (unit, functional, integration, and regression).
7. Track testing progress and defects via JIRA.
8. Participate in the process to continually enhance best practices for quality assurance.
9. Interact with technology staff including Quality Engineers, Operations, Developers, DevOps Engineers, Product management, and Program management to identify the scope of projects and deliver services.
10. Drive adoption of development services (Quality Engineering, Performance Engineering, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Collaboration) among various delivery teams.
All About You
1. Good Java coding experience.
2. Use of JUnit/Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks.
3. Experience in Testing Web services, Web UI, APIs.
4. Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate with Continuous integration (Jenkins) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover).
5. Passionate about code quality and coding best practices.
6. Good knowledge of Linux/Unix.
7. Knowledge of Java, Spring, JUnit, Eclipse IDE, Rest Assured, Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks, Databases, APIs (REST/SOAP).
8. Knowledge of Continuous Delivery concepts and tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo, vulnerability tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify, etc.
9. Excellent technical acumen and ability to learn new software quickly.
10. Strong knowledge of traditional testing methodologies and how it applies exploratory testing in an Agile environment.
11. Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and have the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
12. Possesses strong communication skills -- both verbal and written - and strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills.
