Assistant Supermarket Manager and Trainee Manager

Main Duties:

* Monitor Fresh Food Department performance with the Fresh Food Manager.
* Adhere to stocktaking procedures and coordinate quarterly stocktakes.
* Maintain effective ordering processes and prudent stock management.
* Monitor department overheads and ensure budget targets are achieved.
* Conduct regular staff meetings.
* Provide leadership for Junior Management and staff.
* Liaise with the management team to achieve sales, gross profit, and net profit targets.
* Seek opportunities for technical training and professional development.
* Maintain housekeeping standards.
* Ensure excellence throughout the store.
* Assume store manager responsibilities in absence.
* Have in-depth knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
