Electrical Project Engineer
Asset Recruitment is proud to present this exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer with our client, a leading multinational Pharmaceutical company.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our client team in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary. Reporting to the Site Projects Lead, you will play a key role in the execution of strategic projects and capital/expense initiatives that are vital to the success of our site.
Responsibilities
• Execution of strategic projects, including the design and implementation of New Energy Management Systems
• Design of electrical Distribution, general services (lighting, fire and security alarms, and containment systems), and Electrical Panels.
• Design and selection of Instrumentation for site process systems.
• Arrangement of procurement specifications and quotation evaluations, ensuring the efficient and effective sourcing of project components.
• Collaboration with team members on electrical elements of project design and tracking/reporting progress against project deliverables.
• Contribute with Engineering Projects across all stages, from specification and scope definition to installation and commissioning of new project equipment or buildings.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensuring top performance in the execution of capital/expense projects.
Requirements
• A minimum of a 3rd level qualification (Level 8) in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years+’ relevant experience in an Electrical Engineering Role, with a strong foundation in design, installation, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of working in an ATEX environment is an advantage.
• Experience in designing Low Voltage Distribution, Lighting systems, Small Power, Generators, UPS, and Fire safety and Detection systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the customer/client relationship involved in project management.
• Proficient in engineering project management tools, financial management, and working within budgets.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
