Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain active involvement in the company Safety and Compliance Monitoring Systems, ensuring all OCC staff are trained and capable of accessing and understanding the Company SMS and its underlying culture.
2. Lead the safe and efficient operation of the Irish OCC.
3. Identify hazards proactively, conduct risk assessments, implement mitigations, and manage change activities.
4. Manage and control the Ground Operations Department, ensuring compliance with safety, legislation, and company standards.
5. Ensure adherence to aircraft operations regulations and maintain relevant documentation and approvals.
6. Develop and update the Ground Operations Manual and standard operating procedures.
7. Maintain the Company’s Security Manuals and procedures, including the Air Carrier Security Programme.
8. Oversee training policies for Ground Operations staff to ensure competency and safety.
9. Coordinate with Flight Service and Commercial Departments on flight requirements and documentation compliance.
10. Collaborate with CAMO and Flight Operations to support safe and compliant operations.
11. Lead by example, embodying core values and leadership qualities.
12. Manage, motivate, and support operations staff, ensuring professional performance.

Minimum Requirements
1. At least 5 years of relevant aviation experience, with 3+ in management, preferably with Nominated Person experience.
2. Knowledge of EASA and Irish aviation safety and security regulations.
3. Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
4. Fluency in EASA FTL Regulations, especially Subpart Q.
5. Strong English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
6. Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.
7. Comprehensive understanding of aviation operations and policies.
Beneficial Skills
Additional assets include:
* Experience in worldwide operations, preferably in Business Aviation.
* Knowledge of flight planning and operational software (Leon, Foreflight).
* Proficiency with Office 365.
