Title: Technical Sales Specialist – Inside Sales

Exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist to join my client’s team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting existing customers and developing new business within the company primary markets, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, education, chemical to name a few. The Technical Sales Specialist will contribute to the team’s performance by completing tasks to meet the desired results as required.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide sales support to field sales, engineering teams and customers.
2. Respond to customer queries efficiently and effectively and investigate and resolve customer complaints.
3. Participate in direct marketing activities, in particular direct mail and tele sales to the specified budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
4. Document all sales and customer engagement within CRM system.
5. Management of sales pipeline.
6. Engage with both new and existing customers and key accounts to identify specific needs and new opportunities. This may involve accompanying colleagues within field sale to site meetings.
7. Collaborate in market campaign planning, execution, and management.
8. Upkeep awareness of competition by monitoring pricing, products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, and other information as required.
9. Continuously upskilling by attending inhouse training, educational workshops, reviewing professional publications.
10. Achieve KPI’s, sales and margin targets as outlined by the company.
Education and Experience:
11. Third level degree in business, science, or related discipline.
12. Minimum 1 year experience in a sales role.
13. Results orientated with customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
14. Skilled in negotiation, prospecting, developing client relationships and achieving targets.
