Assistant Arts Administrator (CE Scheme): Waterford Healing Arts Trust
Waterford Healing Arts Trust wishes to appoint an Assistant Arts Administrator to assist in co-ordinating aspects of its arts programme at University Hospital Waterford.
The Assistant Arts Administrator will provide administrative support to the organisation, co-ordinate certain projects, and support the fundraising committee to deliver fundraising initiatives. The candidate will often be the first point of contact for the organisation and therefore is an important member of the team at Waterford Healing Arts Trust. This is a very rewarding role.
Established in 1993, WHAT provides opportunities for patients at University Hospital Waterford and other healthcare settings to experience the arts through music, visual art, and creative writing initiatives. WHAT believes that the arts contribute to the wellbeing and vitality of society and that engaging with the arts stimulates the participant’s sense of identity and creativity. WHAT supports the development of arts and health in Ireland and manages the national website www.artsandhealth.ie.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Applicants must be eligible for Community Employment (typically in receipt of a social welfare payment for 12 months).
