Marketing plays a pivotal role in positioning Ibec as a trusted partner for businesses, amplifying its influence, impact and value and driving revenue growth through membership positioning, acquisition and engagement campaigns. By effectively communicating Ibec’s value proposition across relevant formats and channels, the marketing team ensures that businesses recognise the strategic benefits of membership, access to expert services and insights, and participation in industry-leading networks.
ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting position has become available for a savvy B2B marketer to join Ibec’s marketing team, to support with creating marketing initiatives that generate leads, nurture prospects, and convert them into active members. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on content creation, digital marketing, lead generation, and campaign management.
Marketing & Demand Generation
* In partnership with the wider marketing and commercial teams, develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (email, digital advertising, social media, webpages, events) to drive membership acquisition and engagement.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop messaging that resonates with different audience segments.
* Create compelling marketing materials, landing pages, and content that clearly showcase our value proposition and attract potential members
* Provide insights and recommendations to refine messaging, campaign strategies, and member acquisition approaches.
* Monitor competitor marketing activities, campaigns, and content strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation.
* Work closely with the sales team to generate and nurture leads through the sales funnel, ensuring alignment between marketing and business development efforts.
* Ensure all marketing activities are data-driven, continuously optimising for engagement and conversion rates.
Digital & Content Marketing
* Develop engaging content whether its case studies, CRM, social posts or articles from subject matter experts that speaks to our target audience and drives lead conversion.
* Optimise and update relevant membership landing pages to improve visibility, engagement, and conversion rates.
* Manage and implement SEO best practices, paid and organic digital campaigns, and A/B testing strategies to enhance marketing performance.
* Track and report on key website and campaign analytics to inform decision-making.
Lead Nurturing, Reporting
* Support with the delivery of email marketing campaigns to nurture marketing contacts to a point where they become sales accepted lead.
* Segment and personalise content to different audience groups based on data insights.
* Monitor lead pipeline performance and collaborate with sales to refine lead qualification criteria.
* Report on metrics and KPI associated with each campaign
Event Activation
* Support with the planning and execution of Ibec brand presence at Ibec and industry conferences, events and webinars to attract prospects.
* Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all campaigns and communication channels.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
* Third level qualification in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field of study
Skills & Experience Required:
* 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, membership marketing, or a similar role.
* Proven track record of executing successful lead generation campaigns and digital marketing initiatives.
* Strong understanding of value proposition development and ability to translate this into engaging marketing assets.
* Excellent copywriting and content creation skills with a focus on compelling, customer-centric storytelling.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
* Experience working across different marketing channels, including email, paid ads, social media, and events.
* Ability to analyse marketing data and metrics to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
* Experience with marketing automation, CRM systems (HubSpot, Click Dimensions, Salesforce, or similar), Content Management Systems, SEO, and PPC campaigns
