**Job Title:** Accounts Administrator
Our dynamic finance team is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to become a key member of our team.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a collaborative spirit to support our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide precise administrative assistance to the finance team, focusing on both purchase and sales ledgers.
* Ensure timely reconciliation and processing of payments using computer-based financial systems.
* Prepare and deliver financial data and reports to the Management Accountant and Team Leader.
* Oversee reconciliations for company distribution centers, investigating discrepancies as needed.
* Manage supplier payment processes and handle general accounting administration, including reception coverage when required.
* Maintain organized records through general accounts filing and assist with ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a fast-paced finance or accounting environment.
* Familiarity with accounting software and a strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of financial systems and processes.
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
* High level of accuracy and analytical thinking.
* Experience with IT programs, including accounting software (Sage 50 and Sage 200 preferred).
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a team setting.
* An accounting qualification or active progression toward one is advantageous.
