Community Energy Communications Officer Seeking Community Energy Communications Officer with strong marketing and sales skills to help drive uptake of home energy upgrades in Tipperary.
The Community Energy Communications Officer will achieve this by:Working as part of a collaborative team to develop and drive our sales and marketing strategy.Co-designing and executing the communication strategy to engage communities and homeowners.
This may include creation of content, social media posts, newsletters and relevant templates.Supporting the Community Energy Coordinator to engage homeowners, businesses, and community groups.
This may include developing and delivering presentations to local groups.Serving as an initial point of contact for homeowners, local businesses, and community groups enquiring about energy upgrades, and determining their eligibility to participate in our scheme.Supporting EcoVision's other community development work in the Thurles and Carrick-on-Suir Municipal Districts which contribute to the success of the Community Retrofit Coordination project e.g.
attending networking events and shows.Maintaining a foundational understanding of Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) grants Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of industry trends.Reporting regularly to the General Manager.The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:A qualification in Marketing or Sales, or similar would be a key advantage, otherwise the candidate should demonstrate experience in sales and marketing.A proficiency in social media and digital skills is a must.
Additionally, the candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Some community development experience, particularly with rural voluntary groups and community energy projects, is highly advantageous.An understanding of the Energy Transition and Energy Democracy principles would be welcome.Highly motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a primarily remote, home working environment.Ability to travel with own car and a full clean driver's licence.The candidate must reside in the Thurles or Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District PDF 278.66 KB
