Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

We're looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in steering our financial strategy.
The FP&A Manager will report to the Head of Finance and collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and innovative finance professional with a background in online platform environments who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile work culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, including scenario analysis for different growth strategies.
* Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance by monitoring key financial and operational metrics, offering insights into drivers of revenue growth, customer acquisition, and engagement.
* Data-Driven Decision Support: Partner with product, marketing, and data analytics teams to understand business needs, analyze financial implications, and guide decision-making with insights and recommendations.
* Reporting & Dashboarding: Design and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights for management, ensuring visibility into business KPIs. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Business Partnering: Work closely with various departments to prepare budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses to support project planning and prioritization.
* Risk & Opportunity Assessment: Conduct in-depth financial assessments of new opportunities and potential risks, providing clear guidance to management to support strategic initiatives.
* Process Improvement: Lead efforts to automate and streamline FP&A processes, leveraging data and technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Key Qualifications
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a high-growth online platform or tech company environment.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ACA) preferred.
* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong command of spreadsheets, financial systems and data visualization tools.
* Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
* Business Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of metrics that drive online platforms, such as customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and engagement KPIs.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.
* Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new challenges.
