Senior Mechanical Estimator
We are a specialist MEP Estimating firm, with offices in both Dublin and Galway. Our team is dynamic and young, leveraging our expertise and the latest estimating software to deliver exceptional quality output.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Tendering on various projects primarily pharmaceutical, data centres, high tech manufacturing & healthcare.
* Involvement in full tender process from start to appointment.
* Attending pre and post tender interviews.
* Assembling sub-contract quotes while ensuring they comply with the specification.
* Attending meetings both internal and client based where required.
* Completing take-offs from tender drawings.
* Assessing the labour required to complete each project.
* Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability.
* Leading and developing a team of estimators.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of highly complex projects. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Desirable Criteria:
* FETAC Level 6 Certificate or Degree Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
* Trade background would be extremely advantageous.
* Experience in pharmaceutical or data centre projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
