Job Summary:
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory to ensure that we meet customer demands while optimizing costs. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet company requirements.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
* Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
* Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitiveness and quality.
* Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and determine purchasing needs.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any supply chain issues.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost efficiency and supplier partnerships.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of market trends and supply chain practices.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an advantage.
