The manager will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations of Project Delivery Partners offices in Ireland, Switzerland, and the United States.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities and tasks of the role include but are not limited to:
* Manage day-to-day operations and business activities, getting into the details to resolve issues quickly and keep the business moving forward.
* Responsibility for the delivery of running a compliant office in each region with respect to all legal requirements.
* Lead from the front, building relationships with clients, employees, and partners.
* Create an environment that enables success for everyone.
* Work closely with other regional operations managers to ensure all regions are sharing best practices and implementing the same processes and systems that are possible given regional requirements.
* Responsibility for the delivery of the office’s operational expenses.
* Primary escalation point for clients on matters related to operational delivery.
* Ownership of the processes, systems, tools, and techniques associated with the day-to-day running of the offices.
* Responsible for ensuring that there is transparent and easy access to key performance metrics of the operation at any point in time.
* Participate in weekly Senior Management meetings.
* Develop a strategy for business that drives further growth through innovation and diversification.
* Develop a set of clear objectives for the business that drives performance.
* Employee visa/permit management.
Initiatives
* Stimulating, gathering, and communicating operations-related innovations and continuous improvement suggestions from across the regions with a view to improving the overall accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the Global Operation.
People Management
* Responsibility for management of operations support staff in the regions of responsibility.
Business Contracts & Proposal Support
* Support proposals generation, ensuring that proposals receive the appropriate level of input during their preparation.
* Ensure that proposals are reviewed and approved from an operational perspective prior to client issue.
* Conduct operations review of contracts associated with new clients and projects.
Education and Experience
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an Operational Manager Role.
* Degree qualified; qualification in Business, Project, and/or Operations management is desirable.
* Strong commercial acumen coupled with a comprehensive understanding of business operations.
* Strong organizational, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Takes ownership of the work, is self-motivated with an ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to lead and motivate.
* Ability to multi-task multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Team player with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude.
* Ability to both understand and contribute to PDP's vision, goals, and strategies.
* Ability to evaluate and pursue new initiatives and investment opportunities based on their fit with PDP’s Strategic objectives.
