Our Client are looking for a site based Project Manager – Water, to work on a project in Co. Louth. They are specialists in the Water and wastewater Industry. Providing construction, Maintenance and Upgrade works for Waste Water Plants throughout Ireland.

Key Responsibilities For the Project Manager – Water:
15. Be a Team Player
16. Work closely and develop relationships with the EPA and OPW
17. Ensure all EHS requirements are followed on site
18. Work closely with the PSDP on projects. Act as Company PSCS rep.
19. Carry out regular H&S Inspections
20. Ensure best practice programme management techniques are used such as Lean Construction and Last Planner.
21. Plan the project, taking notes from all disciplines involved in the project
22. Ensure all project milestones are met throughout the project lifecycle.
23. Co-ordinate FATs, SATs ITPs, pressure tests, hydrostatic tank testing and commissioning.
24. Provide assurance and a high level of service to the client at all times
25. Manage suppliers and sub-contractor packages
26. Manage and report monthly on commercial aspect of the project
Key Skills for the Project Manager – Water:
27. 3 years’ experience in a similar role
28. Water or wastewater Industry experience advantageous
29. Knowledge of EHS regulations
30. Experienced in the design, construction, commissioning and process proving of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) systems.
31. Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline
32. Ability to manage multi functional teams
33. Good working knowledge of Primavera P6.
34. Strong Knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project.
