The Staff IT Operations Reporting Specialist ensures the delivery of high-quality services to end users, with a focus on developing, managing, and optimizing reporting processes to support operational excellence in highly regulated environments.
This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, reporting tools, and the ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights.
You will work closely with key partners, including sponsors, to understand their reporting requirements and develop tailored solutions aligned to company methodologies and ways of working.
Responsibilities include collaborating with multi-functional teams, senior partners, and sponsors to capture reporting needs and translate them into actionable digital solutions from the ground up, as well as leading the design, development, and implementation of innovative performance dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Splunk.
Additional responsibilities include continuously identifying and implementing improvements to reporting processes and methodologies, analyzing operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing training and support to team members on reporting tools and standard processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all reporting activities, and acting as an ambassador for IT, working across the business to provide effective communication on IT matters and build partnerships with teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments.
Requirements for this role include experience in performance management, insights, or reporting roles across major infrastructure-based programs, expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Splunk at an advanced level, solid grasp of SQL scripting, and strong Gx P experience with demonstrable experience of leading in highly regulated environments.
Additionally, this role requires the ability to assess customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action, as well as holding a BS/BA in Information Technology or related field and 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment.
