PepsiCo is looking to hire a QC Analyst for the Little Island facility on an initial contract basis.

This role is based in our concentrate plant in Little Island and is a critical component of our manufacturing network. The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing of raw materials in compliance with our specifications. All activities are conducted in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice and safety requirements, while ensuring a positive team environment and a focus on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Comply with Confidentiality Policy.
* Ensure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of raw materials in accordance with PepsiCo standards and procedures.
* Organize the replenishment of relevant laboratory supplies.
* Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with process operators.
* Liaise with manufacturing and R&D on the smooth introduction of new products during and after scale-up.
* Register QC samples in the laboratory management systems accurately.
* Meticulous attention to sample data entry and preparation.
* Prepare all production, delivery, and issue samples in a timely manner.
* Ensure timely and effective issue resolution and communication.
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
* Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organized system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on traceability.
* Adhere to safe lab practices and GLP.
Qualifications
* BSc in food science, chemistry, or equivalent.
* A minimum of 1-2 years experience working with ingredients/materials/products.
Desirable:
* Demonstrate an understanding of business fundamentals and synergies of cost/quality/service to maximize impact on work effort.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to positively influence others and lead the team.
* Good troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to manage a varied workload.
* Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated.
