About the Compliance Officer role We have an exciting opportunity to join our Compliance Monitoring team for someone who is looking to further develop their career in Compliance.
Compliance Officer Business Accountabilities include: Conduct regular departmental and thematic compliance monitoring reviews across business areas to ensure that processes are being undertaken in accordance with the relevant regulations and company policiesReview, develop and enhance compliance procedures to reflect current regulationsSupport the planning and compliance processes by participating in stakeholder meetingsAssist in the reporting of findings arising from the completion of the compliance monitoring programme to relevant stakeholdersAssist in the preparation of forum and committee papersSupport the identification of key risks and related controlsPrepare forum minutesConduct compliance engagements in a manner that will enhance the compliance experienceBuild and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and other stakeholdersParticipate in the handling of day-to-day compliance queriesQualifications and Experience A minimum of 2 years' experience in a second line function is requiredCompleted or willing to complete the Professional Diploma in Compliance - LCI, (Licentiate of the Compliance Institute)Third level qualification in a business/legal related area is requiredIdeal Characteristics A strong team player with demonstrated initiativeExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challengeHighly professional with a good understanding of financial servicesAbility to work under pressure and prioritise workloadGoodbody is focused on helping our employees thrive, and we do this by bringing to life our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) 'Together we prosper'.
