Job Title: Finance & Operations Manager Location: Co. Wicklow, Ireland A golf club in Wicklow is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to oversee the clubs operations and finances. The ideal candidate will have strong business management experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team. Key Responsibilities: Manage club operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures Develop budgets and financial plans, and monitor departmental performance Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all areas of the club's operations Provide financial support to the Executive and Management Committee Oversee day-to-day operations and implement business plans for club growth Develop short, medium, and long-term business plans to ensure sustainability Monitor membership retention and recruitment strategies Key Tasks: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, budgets, and performance reports Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain proper accounting records Oversee payroll, tax compliance, and payments to creditors Manage office services, membership applications, and administrative systems Lead projects as agreed by the Management Committee Supervise insurance, cash flow, and security of receipts Desired Skills & Experience: Proven experience in business management and financial oversight Strong leadership and organizational skills Expertise in financial software and reporting (experience with Xero a plus) Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.
