Renewable Energy Project Advisor
Dublin 2 | Hybrid - 2 days onsite
Are you passionate about sustainability, clean energy, and driving meaningful change? We’re looking for a Renewable Energy Project Advisor to support the roll-out of Ireland’s national renewable energy consenting framework. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team at the forefront of climate action and help guide project developers and stakeholders through the energy transition.
Location: Dublin (Blended working – 2 days onsite minimum)
Contract: 18-month fixed term
Salary: €51,511 per annum (not subject to negotiation)
The Role
You’ll play a key part in the delivery and growth of Ireland’s Single Point of Contact (SPC) function for renewable energy project consenting, as part of the Decarbonised Heat & System Support Department.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Acting as a go-to advisor for queries about renewable energy consenting processes.
* Managing the SPC contact service and maintaining up-to-date, accessible guidance content.
* Building stakeholder relationships with government bodies, developers, and energy communities.
* Representing the team at public forums, events, and working groups.
* Helping shape Ireland’s future energy landscape.
You’ll Need To Have:
* A degree in Engineering, Science, Sustainability, Environment, or Business (NFQ Level 7+)
* Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in the energy, environment, public sector or similar
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Project management experience with a strong eye for detail and quality
* The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team
* Knowledge of Ireland’s renewable energy consenting regime
* Legal or regulatory experience relating to energy or planning
* Experience in multidisciplinary or public-sector project teams
