We are currently recruiting an Operations Director to join our client who are new to the Irish market. Our client is an expert in their field with a strong client profile here. They serve various sectors such as commercial, industrial, and residential, providing turnkey solutions from project planning and design to implementation. Our client has completed over 2500 projects and continues to work on numerous ongoing projects across the UK. Preference a permanent hire.

Responsibilities
8. Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve the company’s short-term and long-term goals.
9. Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs without compromising quality.
10. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
11. Manage people, financial, and material resources effectively to support operational objectives and maximise productivity.
12. Collaborate with other departments, including finance, marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
13. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals. Analyse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
14. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the organization’s assets and reputation.
15. Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effective solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
16. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices adoption across the organization.
Requirements
17. Valid EU Driving License.
18. Degree in Engineering or a related field.
19. Proven experience (5 years) in a senior management role overseeing operations in a similar industry.
20. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
21. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
22. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
23. Solid understanding of operational principles, including process optimization, resource management, and risk mitigation.
24. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
25. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
