Duties
* Develop new products and services intended to support strategic planning efforts.
* Gather and analyze market research data to inform product development decisions.
* Monitor market trends and sales team insights to identify potential products for the portfolio.
* Take new and modified commercial lines products from concept to implementation across all business lines for the target market.
* Stay current on market trends, product positioning, successes, and competition, recommending actions based on analysis.
* Provide regular feedback on product requirements for foreign markets, including specifications, functionality, pricing, and translation needs.
* Prepare and execute local product launches, reporting on expectations of market size, uptake, share, and budgeted sales.
* Define product promotion and positioning for defined segments.
* Produce financial analyses and projections based on proposed solutions.
Candidate Profile
Agrimachinery market knowledge is a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate has:
* Project Management experience with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with stakeholders.
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or New Product Development.
* Familiarity with all aspects of product development and launches.
The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in project planning and management, as well as New Product Development.
