Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced legal executive to support our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of multiple clients, liaising with them in a professional and timely manner.
* Work independently on a case-by-case basis, achieving file advancement and meeting deadlines.
* Engross draft pleadings, liaise with court offices, and ensure compliance with court procedures.
* Issue court proceedings, draw up briefs for counsel, and prepare witnesses for court hearings.
* Maintain accurate records, scan and save documentation, and update financial information on each case.
* Assist solicitors in progressing files using our Practice Management System.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of District, Circuit, and High Court processing procedures.
* Competence in dealing with barristers regarding upcoming court proceedings.
* Proficient typing skills and keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Research skills.
* Ability to relate to clients from every social background/ethnicity.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Practice Evolve or alternative practice management systems.
* Suitable qualification in Legal Executive training or at least two years work experience in a fast-paced legal practice background.
