As a Healthcare Assistant and Activities Coordinator, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering services in a safe, friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement an engaging activities schedule promoting independence, choice, and dignity for residents with middle to late-stage dementia.
* Identify and address resident care needs to ensure a person-centered environment.
* Participate fully in events and activities on site.
* Provide personal assistance, support, and care to residents as needed.
* Maintain cooperative working relationships with residents' families.
Essential Individual Skills:
* A compassionate and engaging individual with strong people skills.
* Proactive with excellent communication skills and ability to listen.
* QQI level 5 qualification in Homecare Support or completion of minimum two modules.
* Good knowledge and experience of working/caring for older persons.
* Client-focused, dedicated, and reliable.
* Awareness of dementia beneficial but not compulsory.
Working Hours: 12:30 - 7pm, 60 hours over 2 weeks.
