Job Description
The company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance of their semi-state power generation entity in Offaly. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage Renewable energy assets to maximize plant availability and efficiency while advancing green initiatives aligned with the client's strategy.
* Lead the maintenance of power plants and associated support systems, ensuring alignment with operations teams and meeting defined targets safely and economically within environmental limits.
* Oversee strategic spare part management, purchasing, and contract management to meet company standards and support operations within agreed parameters.
* Develop and implement outage planning, resource plans, and succession plans for the maintenance team, promoting people development and skills progression.
* Foster a culture of Health and Safety, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work and cooperating with provisions taken by the company to ensure employee and public welfare.
Requirements:
* BSc in Engineering or related technical discipline.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant fields, preferably in large-scale thermal power plant or heavy industrial maintenance.
* Proven experience at a middle management level, leading, motivating, and directing teams effectively.
* Experience in power plant operation desirable; excellent people management skills required.
