Senior HR Generalist
About the Role:
An excellent opportunity for a proactive HR Generalist to work in our clients manufacturing facility in Tullamore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, talent development, diversity and inclusion, benefits, and general HR activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with achieving KPIs and targets in EHS, Quality, Service, Cost, People Development, and Continuous Improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, continuously seeking improvements to internal HR procedures that align with legislation.
* Manage training records, matrices, and ensure they are up-to-date to audit standards.
* Establish best practices to reduce levels of absenteeism and manage capability improvement in leadership.
* Improve performance management practices with a focus on high-quality appraisals, recognition of excellent performers, and management of under-performing employees.
* Conduct disciplinaries and grievances fairly and consistently.
* Support Supervisors and Managers with employee relations.
* Report and escalate health and safety issues and promote a safe company culture.
* Ensure completion of payroll and management information reporting on time.
* Support Talent Acquisition with open roles and lead the recruitment process from start to finish.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a training and HR role in a manufacturing unionized environment.
* HR Qualification/CIPD Qualified.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Suite and Workday.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership teams, with the ability to influence change.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience leading HR initiatives and reviewing processes.
