The ACE Evaluation team is seeking a motivated intern for our Design Evaluation Engineering group to provide support to our automotive team located at ADI’s Limerick Campus. There are 5 full time engineers in the Design Evaluation team, and around 50 engineers in the wider Automotive Cabin Experience group across multiple faculties and sites. We are working on developing ADI’s E2B product family. We evaluate the silicon (both prototypes and final production devices), debug any issues, verify the design, characterize performance, take measurements, and support our worldwide teams. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Develop, execute, analyze, and debug complex silicon test cases. Combination of hardware and software development Perform silicon measurements and characterization using lab equipment. Develop, prototype, and use evaluation board hardware. Developing automation of lab equipment Generating automated results files, templates etc. Prototyping customer solutions on the bench Minimum qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Ability to develop code in C, Python, or similar programming languages. Familiarity with analog electrical circuit theory Familiarity with digital logic fundamentals Interested in using lab equipment and hands on approach. Preferred skills Object oriented programming Have some experience using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or equivalent devices. Connecting sensors or actuators up to the devices and using them in projects.
