Transformation (Project) Manager, Tax & Law Ireland
Role:
The Transformation (Project) Manager for Tax & Law Ireland will be responsible for leading and managing a range of transformation initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and technological capabilities of our Tax & Law. This role involves working closely with service line leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and implementation of transformation projects within the Tax & Law service line.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
* Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
* Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
* Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
* Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
* Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Requirements - Must Have:
* Proven project management experience in a professional services environment, preferably within the Tax & Law sector.
* Understanding of the Tax & Law business and its regulatory environment.
* Demonstrated experience in leading technology implementation projects.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
* Familiarity with the latest technology trends relevant to the Tax & Law industry, such as AI, blockchain, or data analytics.
* Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
* A background in Tax & Law, either through education or professional experience.
