The Position
The objective of this position is to give the holder the diversity of opportunity in a dynamic pharmaceutical organization. It aims to provide the candidate with a multi-disciplinary appreciation of careers within Product Development and experience of the pharmaceutical sector. The opportunity will be a 2-year fixed term role in duration and will consist of a role within our Product Development Department with rotations across Manufacturing and Site Engineering groups in areas of applications and infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive Process Innovation: Actively participate in the design and set-up of cutting-edge process trains.
* Champion Quality by Design: Be an integral part of risk assessments and contribute to the development of robust process designs.
* Conduct Hands-on Research: Perform hands-on process development studies, operating state-of-the-art equipment, collecting critical in-process data, and generating insightful results.
* Communicate Impactful Findings: Analyse and present compelling data and findings from your research.
* Document and Communicate: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including protocols, reports, and engaging presentations.
Qualifications:
* Degree level in Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial chemistry, or related discipline to Honours level (if completing degree May/June 2025 results to date should reflect working towards honours grade).
* Demonstrated self-directed work habits including ability to objectively review and make judgments in context of quality & compliance and effective problem solving.
* Being a team player with strong abilities to interact with others.
* Proven competency and reliability and flexibility.
* Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in English spoken and written.
