Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Trainee Managers, Assistant Managers, Sales Assistants, and other staff members under their supervision. The role requires delivering excellent customer service, implementing high-performance standards, and maximizing staff and store performance to increase profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service:
o Ensure all staff offer friendly and efficient customer service in-store.
o Plan staffing levels for busy periods and anticipate customer flows.
o Respond to and manage customer queries and complaints effectively.
* Staffing & Training:
o Manage, operate, and staff the store within operational budgeted hours.
o Draw up, monitor, and maintain rotas to ensure necessary staffing levels.
o Ensure staff are adequately trained and knowledgeable of Wine Flair's policies and procedures.
* Merchandising & Deliveries:
o Ensure new stock is placed on shop floors/shelves/stands as per the floor plan.
o Complete daily batch maintenance and update labeling correctly.
o Check and sign off deliveries before accepting goods from suppliers.
* Administration & Accounting:
o Adhere to cash handling/banking policies and procedures at all times.
o Complete store paperwork and accounts accurately and promptly for submission to Wine Flair Head Office.
o Manage, record, and reconcile banking processes in line with company procedures.
* Sales & Marketing:
o Develop and increase sales of all products by promoting customer loyalty and encouraging new business.
o Merchandise the store and products in an accurate and appealing way to capture customer attention.
o Ensure all promotions/special offers are advertised correctly and sufficient stock is available to meet potential increased demand.
* Health & Safety & Legislation:
o Understand and abide by Wine Flair's Health and Safety at Work policy.
o Record and report incidents and accidents on relevant documentation and return paperwork to the Head Office.
o Observe the highest standard of personal hygiene while on duty.
* Security:
o Ensure Wine Flair's property and equipment are safeguarded at all times.
o Report and/or escalate any concerns or potential security risks to the On Call Manager and Security Manager.
o Maintain professional confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:
* Availability to attend meetings and management development/training programs as required by Head Office.
* Flexibility in availability to cover absenteeism and work extra hours if required.
* Willingness to assist in other Wine Flair stores as and when required.
