The Thrive Clinic is Dublin’s newest private practice clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive diagnostic Autism Assessment services for children. Our mission is to provide exceptional service that meets the growing demand for assessments in Ireland.
We are seeking qualified Clinical/Educational Psychologists with expertise in Autism assessment.
Located in Anglesea Road, Dublin 4, we are currently looking for talented and motivated Psychologists to join our team.
The role will involve conducting thorough evaluations, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and providing tailored recommendations to support children and their families. If you want to be part of a new and brighter future for Psychology Services, The Thrive Clinic is the place for you.
The key responsibilities will include:
1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children suspected of having Autism.
2. Administer standardised assessment tools and utilise clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses.
3. Collaborate with other professionals, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, etc., to gather comprehensive information and provide holistic assessments.
4. Provide feedback and individualised recommendations to families regarding assessment results and intervention strategies.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessment results and suggested interventions.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
7. Work within limits of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct, and clinical governance.
8. Stay abreast of current research and best practices in Autism assessment and intervention.
What experience and qualifications do I need?
1. Master’s degree in Clinical/Educational Psychology recognised by Psychological Society of Ireland (or equivalent).
2. Psychologist Level: 1 year+ post-qualification experience, working with children.
3. Senior Psychologist Level: 5 years+ post-qualification experience, working with children.
4. Accreditation (Chartership or equivalent) with either PSI, BPS, or other recognised post-qualification accreditation.
5. Specialisation or significant experience in Autism assessment and diagnosis.
6. Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessment tools commonly used in autism diagnosis (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, Vineland).
7. Strong clinical skills, including diagnostic assessment, case conceptualisation, and treatment planning.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
9. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with an openness to sharing ideas and learning from others.
10. Fluent English.

Contract:
