Role description:
Due to recent project wins, our Rail team is growing in Ireland. Join our team and you’ll be working on some of the biggest, most iconic rail projects both in Ireland and globally. It’s challenging, rewarding and will take your career to the next level.
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager with significant experience in the rail sector. You'll be a self-starter and someone with excellent communication skills to be able to engage with clients across all phases of project delivery. Experience in delivering projects with NEC contracts is desirable.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across all stages of our projects, from pre-qualification and tendering, right through project delivery to close-out. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects from end-to-end. To do this role you’ll need energy, agility and an eye for detail – as well as being able to deliver for our key clients every day. Role accountabilities:
You'll deliver complex projects or programmes of work, ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines. You will have the ability to identify and manage any project risks or issues to ensure the project is not adversely impacted.
You'll work with in established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce plans, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets. Your remit will include working with our pursuit team, playing a leading role in establishing the delivery strategy for our projects at the front-end.

Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Project Management or relevant professional qualification.
Previous experience in Rail sector environment.
Previous experience as a Client Facing Project Manager on rail sector projects.
Ability to focus on both our project portfolio and the growth of key client accounts.
Responsible for setting delivery approach for multiple projects and plan in consultation with key stakeholders.
Management of senior stakeholders and providing a leadership role to project teams.
Experience of proactive business development and shaping the business growth strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Focus on delivery of benefits and outcomes to the Client.
Exposure to tendering process would be an advantage.
Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead teams.
