Project Manager Role
We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for delivering a program of internal change across various geographically diverse projects. The successful candidate will oversee a team of project managers and business analysts, ensuring adherence to project and program management policies and procedures.
* Develop and maintain a robust governance process to execute against the required portfolio of projects.
* Manage project status reporting to reflect the latest position of all projects.
* Work closely with individual project teams to oversee their day-to-day activities.
* Identify and manage risks that arise at a project level.
* Analyze project interdependencies and evaluate potential impacts on benefit realization.
* Present regular updates to project sponsors, management teams, and other stakeholders.
* Act as a point of escalation for risks/issues and work to resolve and mitigate.
* Coordinate resource management, including budgeting, recruitment, performance management, training, and coaching.
* Collaborate with internal technology partners or external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
* Maintain compliance with relevant policies and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
* Knowledge/Experience:
o Minimum seven years' industry experience.
o Experience managing global projects with multiple competing interdependencies.
o Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior levels in large organizations.
o Experience working with regional teams in a matrix environment.
o Strong background and understanding of the System Development Lifecycle.
o Formal project management certification (e.g., PMI, PMP, Prince2).
o Degree-level qualification in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related disciplines.
