HR Generalist – Employee Relations Focus
Are you a proactive HR professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic organisation?
We’re seeking a HR Generalist to join our team and support employee relations and HR initiatives across the business.
Reporting to the Director of HR and Communications, you’ll play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment law.
Location: Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin
Hybrid – flexible working. While we offer hybrid working arrangements, own transport is recommended due to our location and the occasional need to travel between sites.
What you’ll do:
1. Partner with managers to provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and absence processes.
2. Manage ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations, ensuring timely resolutions.
3. Provide coaching and support to managers on HR best practices and policy implementation.
4. Maintain HR compliance by managing employment records and documentation.
5. Analyse and report on HR metrics to inform senior management decisions.
6. Assist with audits, HR projects, training initiatives, and process improvements.
7. Support the roll-out of HR policies, procedures, and employee training programs.
What we’re looking for:
1. A minimum of 3 years’ HR experience with a focus on employee relations in a large organisation.
2. A third-level qualification (CIPD qualification or working towards, desirable).
3. Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.
4. Qualified in mediation, trained and certified in mediation techniques, adept at facilitating resolutions to disputes and fostering constructive dialogue.
5. Proven ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
6. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
7. Familiarity with HR IT systems and GDPR compliance.
8. Flexibility to travel occasionally and work outside standard hours when needed.
