Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Stores/Dispatch Manager to support our management team in the day-to-day operations of our unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the dispatch of services to ensure all operations are fully compliant, with all necessary items available to complete the service.
2. Conduct spot checks during business operational hours to maintain high standards.
3. Manage and control EPoS units to guarantee they are in working order and ready for dispatch.
4. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained to achieve company KPIs.
5. Support the production of accurate and timely financial documentation.
6. Verify that all stock is always accounted for, from waste management to goods inwards, dispatch, and return of goods.
7. Report any breakages, wastages, or missing stock to the Unit Manager.
8. Provide updates and inform the management team of any critical issues.
9. Lead a team of nine people, managing personnel planning/rosters, training & development, performance management.
10. Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure stock accountability.
11. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (H&S, HACCP, IMS/ISO).
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Prior experience in a similar role, such as stores/stock management/logistics/operations in the hospitality/catering industry.
2. A hands-on operator with the ability to lead by example through operational excellence.
3. Strong financial acumen, including food stock management expertise.
4. Inventory management experience.
5. Excellent organizational skills.
6. Proven problem-solving ability.
7. Flexibility and autonomy to work independently.
8. Professionalism and effective communication at all business levels.
9. Health & Safety/HACCP awareness.
10. Working knowledge of food products.
Work Details:
This role offers great daytime hours, between 8am-4pm or 7am-3pm, with parking available on site. Interested candidates should submit their CV for further information.
