The Account Executive will help to create and execute on strategy and communication plans for key clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsive to requests and direction on strategy from Account Managers and Account Directors
* Communicate with CEOs and Heads of Comms
* Execute on plans and offer assistance to the Senior Account Executive, Account Manager, Account Director and client on media relations
* Deliver excellent media results ahead of client expectations
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
* Ability to write, draft press releases and plans to an exceptional standard
* A natural or learned understanding of how the press/media works and operates
* High level understanding of deep technology industries such as AI, Blockchain, Fintech, ClimateTech and quantum computing is a plus
SKILLS:
* A team-player with excellent communication skills and a track record of working with corporate or technology clients
* Experience in securing or helping to secure media coverage across broadcast, print and online media including Bloomberg, Fortune, Wall Street Journal, NYT, CNN, CNBC, TechCrunch, RTE, The Irish Times, The Irish Independent as well as industry trade publications
* A creative and ideas-focused approach to consistently over deliver for clients
* An ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment including planning news announcements, end-of-month reporting and strategy execution
