Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of a well-established 4*/5* hotel in Co. Dublin.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high culinary standards and maintaining a keen eye for detail.
* Purchasing and storage of food: oversee the procurement and storage of ingredients, ensuring quality and freshness.
* Hygiene and safety: enforce adherence to company health and safety procedures, guaranteeing a clean and safe working environment.
* Menu development: collaborate with the Head Chef on menu creation and recipe innovation.
Requirements
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a busy 4*/5* hotel kitchen.
* Multitasking and organizational skills: ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining flexibility.
* Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
