About This Role:
As a Branch Manager, you will guide, motivate, and safeguard your team, as well as build strong relationships with customers.
You will steer decisions to ensure sales and productivity targets are met and uphold the highest standards of service.
This role involves problem-solving, monitoring performance, coordinating promotional activity, analysing competitor activity, and compiling reports for operational forecasting.
You will have the freedom to coordinate day-to-day branch operations to ensure a high-performing team.
Duties to Include:
* Assume overall responsibility for ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards and procedures
* Accountability for ensuring the health and wellbeing of all branch personnel
* Provide leadership, motivation, and development for the branch team
* Evaluate and update personnel records according to HR and company procedure
* Support the branch team as required to achieve targets and maintain customer-centric culture
* Manage budgets in line with operational forecasts
* Expand branch customer base through new business
* Focus on tool hire department growth
* Maintain and explore new opportunities with current accounts
* Liaise with Marketing to coordinate promotional activity
* Oversee branch stock management
* Safeguard the Company's assets according to business processes and procedures
* Maintain knowledge of products, technology, and regulations
* Ensure distribution delivery on time and in full
* Responsible for transport regulation adherence
