MCS Group is proud to be working once again with one of their valued clients in Dublin who are a SaaS leader in the EdTech sector. They have recently succeeded in growing their Solution Consulting team and are looking to expand further in early 2025.
The successful candidate will be a vital link between clients and the technical teams within the organisation who will boost sales by leading workshops, demos, and developing solution designs.
Hybrid (2 days in office) - Dublin
The Role
1. Develop scalable solution designs based on client requirements.
2. Lead technical discovery sessions and define integration strategies.
3. Conduct workshops and demos, showcasing software capabilities.
4. Provide technical expertise during sales pitches and pre-sales engagements, ensuring clients understand the value and functionality of the platform.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with product development and client needs.
6. Stay current with industry trends and propose improvements to our technology.
The Person
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
2. Minimum 5 years experience in pre-sales roles with a strong record of delivering business solutions.
3. Experience in SaaS or EdTech platforms would be an advantage.
4. While this is a commercially focused, client-facing role - the Solutions Consultant will need an awareness and understanding of technology and software - for example cloud computing (AWS), APIs and system integration.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to diverse audiences.
6. Happy to be in office in Dublin two days per week.
