About the Role - As a Technical Service Chemist, you'll provide expert technical support in analytical chemistry, troubleshooting, and process improvement. You'll assist with calibration services, maintain accreditations, and support the development of new products and methods. Your role also includes investigating customer complaints, contributing to operations meetings, and providing technical training.
Responsibilities -
* Provision of technical support to both in-house colleagues and customers including daily attendance at Operations Meeting troubleshooting current issues and suggesting efficiencies and improvements.
* Logical troubleshooting skills for processes and systems.
* Supporting the provision of internal Calibration Services.
* Contribute to maintenance of current accreditations (equipment and procedures) and expansion of scope as required.
* Development of new products/services.
* Analytical method development and validation.
* Customer complaint investigation.
* Technical contribution at daily operations meeting.
* Input for technical training and seminars.
* Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Quality Director, or any member of the SLT.
Qualifications & Experience -
* 3rd level science qualification is mandatory, PhD level is desirable.
* Experience in R&D is advantageous
* In depth understanding of ISO9001, ISO17025 and ISO17034.
* Good technical knowledge and ability.
* Troubleshooting skills.
