Job Title: Finance Executive Responsible to: General Manager Main Purpose of Job: We are currently recruiting for a Finance Executive to join the Connolly Motor Group, within the Sales Team on site Mercedes-Benz Galway. This will require the successful candidate to work with individual customers to understand their needs and maximise the sales and profitability of income from finance, warranty and credit protection insurance products. Role Responsibilities: Builds rapport and qualifies the customers requirements Qualifies own understanding of the customer's needs through discussion and gauging the customers reaction to alternative options to build the closest possible match between the product and customer Demonstrates the most suitable options to the customer, understanding and adapting to their buying strategy Agrees the details of the sale Checks the credit status of each customer and proposes the customer to finance providers in accordance with company policies Establishes the details for any vehicle purchased or obtained by Connolly Motor Group Works with customers in a friendly and open way to identify the most appropriate finance, warranty or insurance packages Produces and explains finance quotes, using a knowledge of the cost and margin of various funding options to maximise commission whilst also meeting customer needs Agrees the payment method with the customer, completing all relevant administration in accordance with provider policy and current legislation Manages performance to achieve key targets and deliver continuous improvement Monitors own performance against agreed sales targets (e.g. volume and profit), working with Group Operations Manager to review progress and develop action plans where appropriate Works with colleagues and other teams across the locations to provide a seamless service to customers Ensures opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist Ensure customer satisfaction and retention (e.g. new sales to existing customers) Understanding of GDPR implications Skills and Competencies: QFA Qualification is essential Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, Motor industry is not essential Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, finance providers and the manufacturer Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Email) Experience of using Kerridge (CRM System) Desirable not essential Competent on sales volumes and margins on finance and credit protection insurance products Competent on cash sale conversions Ability to prospect effectively Ability to qualify customers effectively Ability to present and sell the unique selling points of all products Ability to manage and close existing deals while cultivating new opportunities Possess strong attention to detail with administrative functions Time Management skills -Work independently in a busy, active environment, managing own time and workflow Strong problem-solving ability to identify and resolve queries in a professional in a timely manner Present a professional image to both internal and external customers, through attitude, behaviour and personal appearance Full clean drivers license is essential Skills: QFA is essential Strong communication skills Attention to detail
