DUTY MANAGER | CORK | PERMANENT The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the catering services, ensuring excellent service delivery, efficient management of resources, and compliance with health and safety standards. This role would suit an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor who is ready for the next step in their career! THE ROLE | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Management Supervise daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards. Staff Management Recruit, train, and manage catering staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations. Provide leadership and motivation to the team, fostering a positive work environment. Address and resolve any staff issues or conflicts promptly and effectively. Service Coordination Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of catering events, ensuring timely and efficient service. Coordinate logistics such as transportation, equipment, and staff deployment. Handle any on-site issues that arise, ensuring a smooth and successful event. Quality Control Ensure all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards. Conduct regular quality checks and implement improvements as needed. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by consistently delivering exceptional service. REQUIREMENTS | Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in catering or hospitality management Proven track record in a supervisory role Exceptional organisational and multitasking capabilities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food industry.
